Our School
St. Saviour's is a fully inclusive Catholic Primary school which educates children from ages 4 to 11 years old. We are a voluntary-aided school of the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth.
We share in the Catholic Church's mission to make Jesus Christ better known in our world and to serve our community.
We are committed to working in partnership with students, families, parish and local community to offer children the very best education.
Locality
Our school is situated in the village of Totland, located in the West Wight - an Area of Outstanding National Beauty.
We make good use of the outdoor environment for learning about the natural world and support children's understanding of the responsibility of taking care of our world.
Our Church
We are fortunate to be located next door to St. Saviour's Catholic Church.
The Parish community and the school have strong links with children taking part sacramentally in the life of the church. The parish also participate in the masses at school..
Each year, we support the children that wish to receive the sacraments of Baptism and First Holy Communion.
Our children get involved with charity events organised by the Church, local communities and the school.

Nursery - West Wight
We have an extremely good relationship with West Wight Nursery that adjoins our school premises. The West Wight Nursery offers high quality child care for nursery age children. For school aged children, it operates a breakfast club, afterschool club and a holiday club.
School Facilities
Outside facilities include a large playground, playing fields and an Adventure trail. We have access to recreational grassed areas that lead to a woodland area for outdoor learning including Forest school sessions.
Indoor facilities include 4 classrooms (Reception, Y1/2 and Y4/5) in the main building and one class (Year 5/6) in the building opposite. Our Reception Class has an adjacent play area to encourage enquiry and team building skills such as a mud kitchen and planters.
Our large hall is multi-purposed used for Worship, assemblies, celebrations, events, dining area and gym.
